Working Out As A Couple Offers Great Rewards

Exercising with you partner is a great way to get in shape, lose weight and have fun.  Studies show that couples tend to mirror each other’s health habits. A study of 5,000 married couples discovered that men in excellent health tended to have wives that were also healthy.  A University of Pittsburg study also found that highly active men were three times more likely to have active wives.

There are many reasons to work out as a couple, but here are just a few.

One way to stay connected is to have activities you can share. Working out together is a perfect activity to share.  It makes finding time to hit the gym more fun.  It lets the two of you create a bond and feel fabulous doing it.  As an added bonus, exercise creates endorphins and boosts your libido too.

Staying healthy by investing the time and energy to working out is a great way to say “I love you” The benefits of working out will lend to a longer life spent with your significant other too.  That is a great way to show you care.

No relationship is without its share of stress.  The best way to have a great relationship is to minimize the stress levels. Exercise has been proved to reduce stress.  Together you can feel less stressed and feel better able to cope with life’s little challenges.
