We’ve all been there… or at least MOST of us have been there – it’s a Sunday morning and you’re wearing Saturday-night clothes. Your hair’s a mess. Your makeup is smeared beyond recognition. But, on July 27, none of this will be out of the ordinary, as Svedka has declared July 27 National Walk of Shame Day!
The company, in a fun marketing ploy, is an attempt to refute the shame that comes from a booze-induced hookup. The company is urging its consumers to “indulge” in their impulses and “leave the shame behind.”
It’s a tie-in with the company’s Walk Of Shame Kit, that they’ve put together with Ricky’s NYC. The kit contains plenty of things to get you hopped up and shame-less an no time – flip flops, a tote bag (because that tiny clutch doesn’t hold much!), lip balm, a hair brush, sunglasses (to hide those hungover eyes, no doubt), deodorant, Sweetspot Labs On-the-Go Spot Refresh! Cleansing Wipes (aka portable shower), Sweet Breath Peppermint Drops, Rickycare hair elastics, and Psssssst! Dry Shampoo. To get you going with a little ‘hair of the dog’, the kit also contains exclusive cocktail recipes for “the morning after.” Saucy!
The kit retails for $25 – not bad considering all you get (and really, is there a price on keeping your dignity?).
