Study: Staring at Boobs is Good for Your Health (Fake!)

Despite recent reports about a study hailing the benefits of ogling women's boobs, men shouldn't start staring just yet. Popular myth-busting website Snopes.com reports that no such study exists, and that the boob story is an urban legend that fools media outlets every few years. This time it fooled Fox News. Sorry guys!

Citing a German study that was reportedly published in The New England Journal of Medicine, Fox News ran a brief story this week (below) claiming it's healthy to stare at a woman's breasts and that men should admire D-size breasts at least 10 times a day (nice). However, Snopes reports that the "study" actually originated in The Weekly World News (yes, the same publication responsible for Bat Boy) and that there is absolutley no truth to the boob staring claims. Surprise!

"Although the Weekly World News occassionally slips up and prints a true story, we suspect this one belongs in the "HOW TO TELL IF YOUR DOG WORSHIPS SATAN!" and "NEW REMOTE CONTROL DEVICE GIVES WOMEN ORGASMS - UP TO 80 YARDS AWAY!" class," Snopes writes.

Here's the Fox News report for your amusement.
