Women, for years, have been trying to enhance their breasts with a bit of extra padding or perhaps even the water bra. Men on the other hand have not had undergarments to help enhance their best asset, the derriere, until now.
A Canadian company, BottomsUp offers shape enhancing undergarments for both men and women. They specialize in bum enhancing boxers for men. Owner Rick Mucha said he has been selling the padded boxers for about 10 years.
The boxers have pockets built in the back with a seam following the natural butt crack region. The pockets hold any of three pads. Your choices are “Quarterback”,” Halfback” and “Fullback”. If you also want a little oomph in the crotch you can insert a pad there too.
These body shapers retail for $39.99.
Originally they were not designed for vane purposes but to help AIDS patients with muscular problems. Mucha had a friend who had trouble sitting, so he designed the padded underwear to give him a bit of built in cushioning. The idea was such a success that he is now working with veterans and others with medical issues.
"We've worked with doctors who deal with veterans who have had a loss of mass due to war injuries. We've made custom pairs for vets and elders who need one side bigger or smaller than the other. People who've lost a lot of weight due to cancer or other illnesses have also used the garments to even everything out. They're not just for looks." explained Mucha.
