38-year-old Paul Gutierrez of Elgin, Illnois has never had a girlfriend. From online dating sites to mail order brides, nothing has seemed to work. Now he's offering to donate half of his yearly salary (which is about $40,000 as a limo driver) to a charity chosen by the matchmaker who can find him a wife.

Calling himself "Handsome Paul", he's created a blog to help support his search. He lists 38 reasons why women should want to be with him, which include stories about hamsters, his two arrests, and his lifelong dream of starring in his very own adult film franchise.

Handsome Paul also has a thing for costumes, sharing several photos of himself in a bear costume as well as in a moose costume, in which he was protesting an adult bookstore. He also dreams of having his wedding on Halloween night, with everyone dressed for the occasion.

He also shares some sad stories, such as sleeping in his dad's car on prom night so his family wouldn't know he couldn't find a date. He traveled to Columbia to meet a mail order bride, but once she excused herself to the bathroom, she proceeded to climb out the window to escape. And, if all this wasn't enough, he has a strong love for hamsters.

Some say Paul is clever and somewhat cute for putting himself out there this way, while others find it very awkward and embarrassing. However, dating experts don't believe he'll be successful. 

"Women like men with a sense of humor, but that should come out in private conversations, not a blog," said Maria "the Date Coach" Avgitidis.
