Those of us that have been married awhile can attest to the trouble it takes to “break” our husbands in as we adjust to cohabitating. We marry them and move in with them only to find out they are less than perfect and the annoying habits drive us crazy. It can take months maybe even years to break those habits, causing us great angst.
It seems the good folks at Alfred Angelo feel our pain and they set out to ease it, at least for the newlywed crowd. They have launched Groom School with the help of relationship experts Diane and Jim Taylor. The idea is to turn that clueless boyfriend into a dream husband.
They teach classes like I’m Sorry 101, where the groom will learn the fine art of an apology and when to send flowers.
Then there are the domestic chore classes, like “Does This T-shirt Smell Funny” and the “Science of Dishwashing”, parts one and two.
They even offer a class that teaches them to put down the remote or the game console without anxiety. Along with this class they can get a free lesson in how to replace a toilet paper roll.
If he needs a bit more personalized attention you can always guide him toward the private lessons they offer too.
Any guy willing to go to these classes is a definite keeper.
