Karen Lueders of Sheboygan Wis., faces felony mayhem charges.  Mayhem?  For what you ask? Well, she bit her husbands tongue off as he was kissing her.

Apparently her husband Willard leaned over to kiss her while she was on toilet.  (That’s just nuts in the first place.)  She responded a tad violently.  She grabbed his package and bit down on his tongue, taking off half of it.

When the cops arrived they found her outside singing Christmas Carols and holding a New’s Year’s horn.  If they didn’t think she was riding the crazy train then, they had to know it when she blew the horn in their ears and tossed coffee at them.

They found her poor husband and his tongue in the house. He was sent along with his tongue to the hospital, hoping it could be reattached. There is no word if it was successful.

Mr. Lueders did tell police his wife has been acting strangely for days leading up to the incident, talking about spirtual things and speaking rapidly.

This quote from the Sheboygan Press just drives home the point that Karen Lueders belongs in a rubber room.

“Karen Lueders did not speak during the court appearance, but she leaned over to a reporter as she was escorted out in hand cuffs, saying, ‘I love you, it’s too bad you don’t listen.’ While leaving the court room she continued in a singsong voice, saying 'I love you Karen Lueders.'"

That’s one fruitcake no one wants for Christmas.

If convicted she faces 25 years in prison or time in a mental hsopital.
