Study: Bisexual Men Do Exist

Think male bisexuals don’t exist? Think again. According to a new study, it is indeed possible for men to be attracted to both sexes, challenging the common notion that male bisexuals are actually closeted homosexuals.

"Someone who is bisexual might say, 'Well, duh!'" Dr. Allen Rosenthal, a psychology doctoral student at Northwestern University, told the New York Times. "But this will be validating to a lot of bisexual men who had heard about the earlier work and felt that scientists weren't getting them."

Date-Rape Drug Test for Drinks On the Way?

If you’ve ever been concerned with the safety of your drinks when you’re out and about, pretty soon there may be a way to know if someone’s slipped a date-rape drug into your cocktail. A sensor that can detect the drugs in drinks with an accuracy of 100% is currently being developed by scientists.

The test works in real time – not after you’ve consumed the beverage, thankfully. It works by analyzing a tiny drop of the drink as it comes into a chemical formula made by the researchers – sort of like a litmus test for GHB and ketamine.

“Got Milk?” PMS Ads Pulled

photo source: adweek.com/got milk? ad campaign

The California Milk Processor Board has pulled its controversial “Got Milk?” ads that positioned the dairy beverage as a cure-all for women's PMS symptoms. The milk board’s executive director, Steve James, says, “It certainly wasn’t our intention to offend people. We regret that. No question, with some people we have stepped over the line. We certainly misjudged the heat generated by people who thought we stepped over the line.”

The ads, which are featured on EverythingIDoIsWrong.org, featured men looking rather harried – perhaps because they have to deal with their hormonal female companions. The men are shown holding cartons of milk, and captions like “We can *both* blame myself” and “I’m sorry I listened to what you said and not what you meant” adorn the photos. Needless to say, plenty of people took issue with the advertisements.

But, on July 27, none of this will be out of the ordinary, as Svedka has declared July 27 National Walk of Shame Day!
