Rock n' roll hero Ozzy Osbourne is a modern medical marvel. Scientists are still baffled by how he's survived a four decade avalanche of drugs and alcohol. With all that experience, and a humorous storytelling style, Osbourne is publishing a new book this week titled Trust Me, I'm Dr. Ozzy.
Here's some simple advice he recently shared with Asylum.
Don't Eat Meat
"You'd need a couple of sticks of dynamite to unclog the Prince of Darkness after a plate of ribeye."

Some say ladies have more sensitive skin, but I think men may suffer from sunburn more often. Outside jobs are mostly held by men and guys play plenty of outdoor sports. I'm sure some use sunscreen religiously, but most of the men I know, don't.
But soon, in perhaps five years or so, these sun-loving lads can protect their precious skin cells with something as simple as popping a pill, thanks to coral.

Girlfriends and wives who get too friendly with their fella's pals could cause him to have problems in the sack. According to new research published in the American Journal of Sociology, this phenonmenon called "partner betweenness" causes some men to suffer from erectile dysfunction.
The research is based on a 2005 study which surveyed 3,005 men, 57 to 85 years old. Since guys tend to rely on their male friendships to fuel their sense of masculinity, ladies can threaten those macho feelings when they bust in on bromances.

Want to live to be a hundred? Don’t ask today’s centenarians for advice. According to researchers at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, many centenarians have a history of making poor health choices, and genes, not lifestyle, is the reason they have lived to a ripe old age.

Are hot dogs as dangerous as cigarettes? According to one non-profit health organization, the answer is a resounding yes.
Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, a non-profit organization that promotes preventative medicine, erected a billboard near the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to warn NASCAR fans about the dangers of gobbling hot dogs. Emblazoned with the message “Warning: Hot Dogs Can Wreck Your Health” and a picture of grilled franks sticking out of a pack of cigarettes, the message is pretty dire.

Meet Randy Hastings, the world's first gay male naked therapist. Currently in training at Sarah White Therapy, the original Naked Therapy™ practice, Randy is accepting clients via web cam and in person.
Why Naked Therapy you ask? Why not?
One of the core principles is based on the assertion that in our sex-saturated internet world, traditional therapy methods are irrelevant. People need to learn to integrate their rational selves with their aroused selves so they don't engage in self-destructive and uncontrollable acts of "arousal frenzy."

Are hospitals truly more dangerous in July, when new medical trainees start working at teaching hospitals, or is that just an urban legend? While past studies have offered little evidence to support the so-called “July effect,” a new paper published today in the Annals of Internal Medicine suggests the theory may have some credence.

HBO.comCould people soon live as long as True Blood's vampire Eric?
Want to live 150 years? You may be in luck. According to biomedical gerontologist and chief scientist Aubrey de Grey, the first person who will live to be 150 is already walking among us. However, 150 years is just a blink of the eye to the 1,000 year lifespan de Grey predicts is coming soon. According to the Cambridge University doctor, the first person to live for 1,000 years could be born as early as 2031.

The folks at Men’s Health are at it again. While in the past they’ve covered everything from obesity, alcoholism, and sex, this month the popular men's magazine ranks America’s most sedentary cities.
To identify the nation’s laziest locales, Men’s Health looked at “where and how often people exercise (Experian Marketing Services); the percentage of households that watch more than 15 hours of cable a week and buy more than 11 video games a year (Mediamark Research); and the rate of deaths from deep-vein thrombosis, a condition linked to a lot of sitting (CDC).” The results?
