Bigamy is a third degree felony in Utah, but that doesn’t stop thousands of fundamentalist Mormons from practicing polygamy as part of their religious beliefs. Most practice it in secrecy for fear of prosecution. The Brown family, featured on the reality show Sister Wives, has decided to challenge that law in court.

He intended to direct message it, but accidently sent it to every one of his followers, sparking a media storm.

Divorce it seems, is becoming a thing of the past.  Recent government statistics suggest that those who are married are staying married, with divorce rates dropping by 5 percentage points since 1996. 

Researchers believe several factors could be at play here.  Women are more focused on their careers and their own financial stablity than on getting married right out of school.  No longer are men the bread winners, women are contributing and sharing the finacial burdens too. This has caused them to defer marriage until they feel more settled.

Nigerian Bello Maasba has the concept of a harem down to a science and his fellow countrymen are none too pleased.

 The 87 year old has had 107 wives throughout his life. He is currently married to 86 of them between the ages of 19-64, nine have died and he divorced 12 for disobedience.   They live in 89 room home.
